Our Story
Climbing Nusantara was born from a local climber’s dream to promote rock climbing destinations around Indonesia.
Nusantara is a portmanteau word that literally means “outer islands”, but is used to refer to the Indonesian Archipelago. As such, the name Climbing Nusantara represents our vision to help people climb their way through and across Indonesia.

TRI ANDIKAL (EKA)
FOUNDER & LEAD GUIDE
Tri Andikal, better known among friends as Eka, was born in Payakumbuh, West Sumatra. He has several certifications under his belt, including SEACF Level 2, TKPK Level 1, and Vertical Rescue Indonesia. When not climbing rocks, he spends his time canyoning, hiking, and surfing.
